Do senior citizens eat as well now, at their age, as they did when much younger?

I was a child of the Depression during the thirties, and ate what was put in front of me, I tend to eat meat and soup in the winter and salads in the spring and summer. If, of course, your grandparent cannot digest ordinary foods then there is nothing wrong ,just make sure he has enough to keep him well.
