Ok my hubby went awol 2 years ago n just this jan the army find him.i just found out that we r divorce but how?

ok like i was saying me and my hubby got married 5/06 and 5/07 he went awol frm the army and me and my 3 kids had to moved back with my gma...now 1/09 they found him in tx and brought him back to ga and blah blah blah....we wasnt living together but we r in the same state and we traveled back and forth to see each other....i had lost my job and i was about to get evicted frm my apt so i called to get a aer frm the army because two weeks b4 that i found out i was still on his deers but after i tryed to get the loan they told me that he told he chain of command that we were divorce and that she had the divorce decree...now what i dont understand is how would that go about when me and him was seein each other n he not once bring a paper for me to sign but they said that me nor my kids where on his deers and that he got remarried ....and all this happened in a 2 week period.....what should i do and what should i believe cuz i didnt sign anything and from my understanding we are still married .....
