Help with MP3 Touch Screen?

My Ipod Touch got wrecked and I put it in the shop to get fixed. I needed a quick replacement so I bought one of those Curtis MPK8854 Touch Screens. I got the audio working but the video isn't. It says use .AVI video files and I did but it still didn't work. I also tried MP4 and it still didn't work. Any suggestions to make the videos work.
