Multilingual people, could you describe your languages to me?

English is my native language, but I hope to become fluent in Japanese and French, and possibly German, Korean, Cantonese, and Italian. I've always had an interest to language, probably because I want to see the world and learnnas much as I can about other cultures and people. In tye spirit of learning, I'm asking out of curiousity want languages you know, when and how you learned them, and how long it took.
